Bus Fare Increases

Following a recent consultation on reductions in bus subsidies across North Yorkshire, the council has decided to reduce the amount it spends on subsidising local bus services. These reductions will begin to take effect from April 2014 and includes services that carry school children.
It has been agreed that a minimum fare of £1 per journey will be charged on all school services.
As a result of these changes there will be an increase in the fares that will be charged on this service from 22 April 2014.

Please note: there will be no charges for customers who currently qualify for travel passes, this will remain the same it is now.
