Computer Services Maintenance – 27, 28 October
On Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 October, the ICT Network staff will be undertaking some maintenance work on the Caedmon College Whitby network servers which may affect some public facing services making them unavailable at periods throughout the Monday (none are expected to be down on Tuesday):
Services that will be affected:
- ePortal – affecting staff and parents
- Moodle – affecting staff and students
- Remote Connection – staff
Services that will not be affected:
- Email Communications – staff and students
- College Library Online and eBooks
- College Shop
Internal site dependent schedule:
Monday 27 October – Normanby Site – Services (as stated above) will be disrupted all day, this means the main network will also be down internally. We ask staff and students that are registered to be onsite and plan to use computers to use Scoresby site for some limited access. We, ICT Network Team, will have limited personnel available but will assist where necessary with any planned extra curricular teaching that is going on at the site.
Tuesday 28 October – Scoresby Site – Some down time may occur but is unlikely. No users will be affect as additional server/services are going online. No external services are running from this site so will not be affected.
