On Friday 24 March we are running a ‘Progression Day’ for Year 13 students specifically targeting those that have not applied for Higher Education this year. Attendance on this day for these students is compulsory. There will, however, be spaces for any students who have not yet received offers from university and for those now considering not following that route.
The day will run from 10.00am-1.00pm and will involve a series of workshop sessions, based on next steps, curriculum vitae writing and apprenticeships. We have arranged for both Tyro Training and Derwent Training to be on hand to pass on their expertise and knowledge, particularly in relation to apprenticeship opportunities in the local area. We hope students will find the day extremely beneficial in helping them prepare for life beyond Caedmon College.
If you would like to reserve a place for your son/daughter on the ‘Progression Day’ (24 March), please complete the reply slip below and return it to Mr Corcoran in the Sixth Form Office by Wednesday 22 March.
