Chetham’s success for CCW Student

Year 11 student, Lorna Quantrill, from Caedmon College has gained a place to study A-levels at the prestigious Chetham’s School of Music, in Manchester. Chetham’s, which dates from 1421, was originally a college for priests, then a school for boys, before becoming a specialist music school in 1969. It has a reputation as one of the world’s most celebrated music schools.

Lorna, who studies oboe and piano, will start at Chetham’s in September.
