Drive Alive – Enrichment Day on Tuesday 19 March 2019

All Year 12 students will be involved in this enrichment morning. Three different providers will visit the College in order to teach Year 12 how to drive safely and also be a safe passenger. Our students will experience a variety of workshops: ‘Car cutting demonstration’, delivered by North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue, ‘Prevent’ from the North Yorkshire Police and ‘Drink, Drugs and Driving’ from North Yorkshire County Council. We hope these enrichment sessions will help to keep our students safe.

Enrichment sessions are regarded as a compulsory part of the College programme and students will be informed of their participation leading up to the day through assemblies and notices.

The enrichment programme has been designed to give students a ‘broader’ education – something that compliments their academic studies. In the current economic climate, employers and universities are looking for students who have participated in additional learning experiences and the College enrichment programme is designed to help support this need.

We would appreciate your support in ensuring that your son/daughter attends this enrichment day.
