14-16 years

I am delighted to welcome parents, carers and students to the College’s Key Stage 4 page. The website gives a clear indication of what the College has to offer the young people of Whitby and the surrounding areas.

Key Stage 4 students are offered a broad and balanced innovative curriculum that meets the needs of all stakeholders. The College and staff are committed to delivering a high quality teaching and learning experience that enables all learners to reach their full potential and which will give them the skills and qualifications to go on to the next stage of their lives.

Underpinning the curriculum is a strong House system that meets the needs of all learners and fosters a strong House culture and identity, which, in turn, teaches students high moral values and enables them to be good citizens. The students and staff embrace charity work and a strong programme of extra-curricular activities is in place to enhance the learning experience.

At Caedmon College Whitby we are committed to working with our young people, parents and carers to meet the needs of all students in our care. Key Stage 4 is an extremely challenging time for young people but we believe that with the learning provision and support offered, every student has the chance to succeed.
